I've been getting a ton of ads lately for these new at home ice baths, and I'm really curious about them. Has anyone heard of them or even tried one?

Are they for real, and do they actually work? I'd love to hear some honest reviews before I decide if they're worth the hype.
Also, tell me the brands you guys like

Many well-known brands such as Plunge and Ice Barrel are effective but can be quite expensive. On the other hand, converting a chest freezer into an ice bath is a more budget-friendly option. The benefits of ice bath are real, less inflammation and improved recovery. It's a good idea to begin with cold showers to get accustomed to the cold

I started cold plunging last year after hurting my knee. At first, I used a chest freezer I set up myself, then later got something better. Cold plunges really help with healing and clearing your mind, but doing it often is more important than making it super cold.

If you want something ready to use, check out brands like Ice Barrel, Redwood Outdoors, or Hydragun. But If you like building things, a stock tank with a water chiller is a cheaper way to go.
