Anyone try Nurecover cold plunge?

A neighbor of mine just picked up one of those Nurecover setups and asked me to help him get it going. Honestly, the build feels super cheap and the fittings were leaking right away. Before he wastes (lol) more money into fixing it, does anyone else here have experience with these or know if they're all like this? Ahhhh. It's kinda frustrating.

To be honest, the tub itself is okay, but the hardware they ship is pretty weak. I helped a buddy set one up and he had the same issue with leaks at the connectors. He ended up swapping out the stock fittings for stainless ones and it has been fine since.
