Ice Barrel 500 build & first impressions upright fit for tall users

I just finished putting together my Ice Barrel 500. I went with this mainly because of the upright design. At 6'3, I have to lean back a bit to keep my shuolders covered when I sit on the bench, but sitting cross-legged works fine. I followed Wintermute's open-source guide and spent about $2,500. The ¼ hp Active Aqua pump is keeping the temperatuer perfect here in Arizona, no issues at all. I'm really looking forward to making cold plungin a regular thing! Is anyone else using the Ice Barrel?

I have the 400 with the blue diamond 1/4 hp pump and it's the best investment ever. I plunge a couple of times a week and it has been doing wonders for my work stress. Lucklily I'm not too big and I was on a tight budget so some day I hope I'll upgrade to the 500

I wonder why does sitting in freezing water suddenly feel like the ultimate flex especially after spending $2,500 and realizing you're basically chilling in a fancy upright barrel by choice?

The flex is that these fancy barrels maintain the temperauter much longer than your average tub. Plus, we're not doing it to get likes on Insta, we're doing it for mental and physical health benefits.
