I just dont get how they price this Morozko Forge. The unit makes its own ice, which is... nice, but it basically looks DIY. Just a standard metal tub with a cedar frame. Aside from the chiller, which is also available separately, its hard to see why the price is over $15k. Anybody think the same?

Yeah, totally with you. For $15K, you'd expect more than a fancy tub and a chiller. It really does give strong DIY vibes and it is very hard to justify that price tag

The Morozko Forge feels like a total scam at that price point. Sure, it makes its own ice...that's cool, but it's basically a basic metal tub dressed up with some wood. You're paying for branding, not engineering, a DIY setup or chest freezer conversion could do the same for a fraction of the cost

It's hard to justify that price when you break it down to materials and function. The self-ice feature is pretty decent, but is it really worth thousands more? Did you ever try building your own setup or look into any midrange plug and play options that hit a better balance between performance and price?
