Saw one using a Grizzly Ice chest drain kit., looks doable. Any heavy duty cooler recommendations? Or maybe a durable pool?

That Grizzly kit idea is great! For durable coolers, check out the YETI Tundra or the Coleman Xtreme if you want to save some cash. If it's for the pool, the heavy-duty Intex ones are pretty reliable. What are you working on?

Grizzly's definitely built tough.

How long does the ice usually last in the YETI compared to the Coleman? And is the Tundra worth the extra bucks if it's mostly for quick recovery dips?

YETI's are great at keeping ice for a long time. Still, if you just want something fast for the pool, a Coleman cooler will probably work just fine, and it won't break the bank
